i hate all that i am and everything you are becoming. 

i have seen us in the light 

of different lives 

one being where you love me 

and the other you leave me adrift 

in the waters of impurity 

and negligence. 

I wonder if you are the anchor that drowns me 

Or the karmic responsibility 

I have held onto for all eternity 

Rather this realization is difficult to convince you of 

As you remain shallow 

Of your own self love

accompanied by a questionable mentality.
